Dr Suhani Nayak is a well-known Ophthalmologist from Vadodara, Gujarat. She completed her M.B.B.S from Smt. N.H.L Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, Gujarat University and M.S. Ophthalmology from Shri C.H.Nagri Eye Hospital, Ahmedabad, Gujarat University.Dr Suhani has been associated with Lotus Eye Hospital and Institute, Coimbatore as Consultant Ophthalmologist (Cataract & Medical Retina) ,GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Gotri, Baroda and SSG Hospital, Baroda as SR (Senior Registrar). She is currently associated with Parul Sevashram Hospital Baroda.Dr Suhani Nayak has acquired Fellowship in “RETINOPATHY OF PREMATURITY AND PEDIATRIC RETINAL DISORDERS” and LASERS FOR DIABETIC RETINOPATHY – MEDICAL RETINA” at Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore.
Dr Suhani has also been awarded the prestigious ICO Fellowship in “ OCULAR INFLAMMATION & UVEITIS “ at The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, New York, USA by International Council Of Ophthalmology (ICO) for three months (June –August 2015). She has also done an observership for 2 weeks in Uveitis unit at PGIMER, Chandigarh under Dr Amod Gupta.Dr Suhani Nayak has been awarded the third prize in All India Young Research Awards session at AIOC 2015.Apart from this, Dr Suhani Nayak has contributed in various publication as well. She has done intensive research on “Comparison of macular photocoagulation alone or in combination with intra vitreal anti-VEGF (Bevacizumab) in patients with diabetic macular edema”. She has authored and co-authored more than 20 papers and posters.
